Pernod Ricard's Chris Ellis becomes group commercial director

27 November, 2014

Pernod Ricard UK’s wine boss Chris Ellis has been promoted to a role that also encompasses the group’s spirits portfolio.

As commercial director for wine Ellis has built up the French drinks giant’s brands such as Campo Viejo and Brancott Estate by pushing them into premium tiers.

His new role as commercial director for the entire Pernod Ricard UK portfolio will see him take on such brands as Jameson, Malibu and Absolut.

Denis O’Flynn, managing director at Pernod Ricard UK, said: “Chris’s expanded role reflects his contribution to the commercial team in wines and spirits over the past 10 years. I wish him every success in his new position.”
