Co-op grows range for autumn
The Co-operative has added three new wines to its Truly Irresistible range.
A Barbera d’Asti, a Picpoul de Pinet and Pic Saint-Loup Rosé 2013, a Languedoc Syrah/Grenache blend billed as a good alternative to Provence, all priced at £6.99.
Wine buyer Ben Cahill said: “Our aim is to offer shoppers a diverse and interesting collection of wines and the premium range has really given us an opportunity to showcase exciting but unusual wines, which we are convinced customers will enjoy.
“Shoppers will find the signature silver Truly Irresistible label around our bottles, which gives them the confidence to try something a little different, even if they are not familiar with the grape variety or blend.”
The retailer has also added a range of new branded wines to its offer for autumn and winter, including exclusive listings of Matthieu Lecleve’s Touraine Sauvignon Blanc 2013 (£7.99) and Castello di Querceto’s La Rabatte Chianti 2013 (£6.99).
