Innis & Gunn toasts 15% sales growth

18 September, 2014

Scottish brewer Innis & Gunn is celebrating after 15% sales growth saw it break through the £10 million barrier for the first time.

It sold £10.5 million worth of beer in 2013, according to annual accounts it has just posted, and growth was driven by UK sales.

The brewer said surging off-trade sales meant the proportion of beer sold in the UK rose from 22% to 29%.

The brewer’s flagship beer, Original, is now the best-selling bottled ale by value in the Scottish off-trade (IRI, year to May 2014).
