Adrian Atkinson quits Pernod Ricard

Pernod Ricard’s wine development director Adrian Atkinson has left the business after eight years in the role. 

A spokesman for Pernod Ricard said: We would like to take the opportunity to thank Adrian for his loyal service and commitment to the business and wish him the greatest success for the future.

“This is one of a small number of changes within the UK business across the  commercial and marketing teams as part of the global Pernod Ricard project to deliver operational efficiency.”

On his Twitter page Atkinson described himself as: “Wandering around from Oddbins shops to Oddbins senior buyer to Sainsbury’s to Allied Domecq, wine dev director @Pernod Ricard and now my views are just mine.”

He started his career as a buyer for Oddbins and Sainsbury’s, and later worked for Allied Domecq before it was bought by Pernod Ricard in 2005.
