Tesco launches fine wine discount

09 May, 2014

The Tesco wine team is targeting fine wine lovers with a 15% off deal on more than 200 lines as part of a “spring clean” of its range.

Customers can save £720 on a case of Chateau Lafite 2009, or more than £50 on a case of Jean-Claude Boisset Puligny Montrachet Premier Cru Les Perrieres 2009.

The wines on offer also include brands like Penfold’s Grange and Wolf Blass Gold Label.

The wines that have been included in the spring clean are all the wines labelled with the “Fine Wine” logo and are exclusive to Tesco’s Wine by the Case business.

The minimum purchase to qualify is 12 bottles.

Nick Juby, commercial manager for wine by the Case at Tesco, said: “With lots of new wines soon to be added to the range, we are in the midst of spring cleaning the fine wine warehouse in order to make space.  There are some great prices available for some really well-known wines.

“With more than 200 wines available, an easy to use website and free delivery, it is a great opportunity for people to discover the diversity of the wine range on Wine by the Case. There are fantastic savings to be had, plus there are the added benefits of Clubcard points and FuelSave!”

The promotion runs until May 20 while stocks last.
