Christensen takes helm at Enotria

24 April, 2014

Enotria has appointed former Constellation and Accolade Wines boss Troy Christensen as its chief executive.

Christensen is to take over from Alison Levett, who is leaving the business after seven years.

He is moving to the UK from the US to take on the role.

An Enotria spokesman said: “Troy will continue to build on Enotria’s success, ensuring that its producers and customers across all channels continue to enjoy the benefits of dealing with one of the leading wine distributors in the UK.”

During Levett’s time with Enotria, annual revenue has grown to more than £120 million from £52 million.

She said: “There is never a good time to leave a business like Enotria, however it’s now appropriate to hand over the leadership baton. Enotria has gone from strength to strength and I’m pleased to have been part of such a successful business, made all the more special by the wonderful team of people.”

Dressing to impress

We’ve all had impressed on us the idea that we mustn’t judge a book by its cover. It’s one we tend to repeat at opportune moments, while singularly failing to follow it when buying books, or anything else.
