Malibu links with fashion designer for limited bottle

18 March, 2014

Malibu will be available in a limited edition bottle created by fashion designer Sera Ulger from April 14 for six weeks.

The bottle will be available to multiples and independents.

Supermarkets will have packs containing a free branded cup made out of a coconut from July. The cups were used to promote on-trade serves last year.

Malibu has also teamed up with cocktail mix brand Funkin to create a co-branded 75cl pack (rrp £2.99) of Piña Colada mix for the off-trade.

Pernod Ricard UK marketing controller Adam Boita said: “Summer isn’t summer without Malibu so we have ensured that all of our activity personifies the brand – that it’s creative, innovative, fun and stands out for our consumers.

“With volumes showing good growth year-on-year, we want to continue to drive momentum in the off-trade.”
