US craft beers land at Tesco

27 January, 2014

The Winery Exchange has gained listings at Tesco for two US craft beers from its Roscoe’s Hop House range.

Its amber ale and IPA are priced at £1.99 at 90 stores across the UK.

The beers are produced in Rochester, New York, and are sold in 14 states, but The Winery Exchange is ramping up its presence in the UK market.

The 6.3% abv IPA has a spicy hop character blended with pale, crystal and caramel malts to give a long finish.

The medium-bodied amber ale has an abv of 5.5% and is aimed at craft beer fans and those wanted to step up from beers with lighter flavours.
