Brazilian wines hit UK market

11 October, 2012

Five wines from Brazil’s leading producer are now available from Stevens Garnier.

Aurora’s still and sparkling wines from the cool climate region of Serra Gaúcha in southern Brazil include Moscato NV, Pink Moscato NV, Chardonnay Reserve, Pinot Noir Reserve and Merlot Reserve.

The bottles have RRPs between £8.99 and £9.99.

Stevens Garnier’s buying and marketing director James Forbes said: “We’ve been working with Aurora to get the styles, quality and presentation right for the UK and they’ve done a brilliant job.

“With a heightened interest in Brazil due to the forthcoming World Cup and Olympics, as well as styles which are just so incredibly consumer friendly, we believe Brazilian wines will be firmly on the map in a very short time, and Aurora will be at the front of this new trend.”
