Heineken creates Olympic fan hub

05 July, 2012

Heineken will host a fan hub throughout the upcoming Olympic Games that will display fan content online and on outdoor TV screens across London.

The content will include a daily calendar of events, a list of Heineken pubs, relevant Olympic and Paralympic facts and details of medals celebrations – all regularly updated.

This advertising campaign celebrates Heineken’s role as official lager supplier and sponsor of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The fan hub can be found at www.thefanhub.co.uk and coverage will take over the home pages of both Yahoo! and Eurosport.com as part of a drive to direct traffic to the site.

Digital outdoor screens throughout London underground and rail stations and at Westfield Stratford shopping centre will display near-live content that directly feeds from the Heineken fan hub.

Content will include a guide to the 21 big screens across the UK, a guide to celebrating in London, a daily blog, a fan gallery, tweets and a host of facts.
