Codorníu reshuffles sales team

05 January, 2012

Codorníu has appointed a new UK brand manager as part of a reshuffle in its sales and marketing departments.

Former wines brand manager Carolyn d’Aguilar has been appointed Codorníu brand manager, which involves managing the company’s marketing department and corporate communications.

Tom Barton has joined the UK sales team as regional sales manager for the south east, from Berkmann Wine Cellars, where he was regional sales manager.

Jake Crimmin, the former head sommelier at Gaucho, is taking on the newly created role of London on-trade and prestige manager.

Susannah Bearne, who was Codorníu’s regional sales manager for London and the south east, is joining the marketing department to take on d’Aguilar’s former role of wines brand manager.

UK & Ireland managing director Nick Mantella said: “We are delighted to announce these new appointments. We need to continue to develop Codorníu as one of the UK’s top sparkling wine brands and to grow our wine sales within the independent sector. I am happy that we now have a strong, growing team in place to take the business forward.”
