Glenfiddich sponsors MOJO music awards

04 May, 2011

Glenfiddich is the new headline sponsor of the MOJO Honours List, the music magazine’s annual awards ceremony.

The sponsorship has kicked off with a search for the best unsigned singer/songwriter in Britain and Ireland. Glenfiddich MOJO New Voice will culminate in a live event at London’s Gibson Studios in July, when the top five acts, as voted for by MOJO readers, will perform in front of an elite music industry panel chaired by editor Phil Alexander.

The search will be supported in magazine, social media platforms and with a PR and promotional campaign encompassing print, radio and online.

The malt whisky brand will also support two categories at the MOJO Honours List on July 21: song of the year and the MOJO Hall of Fame award.

Glenfiddich brand ambassador Jamie Milne said: “Following the success of last year’s partnership with MOJO award winner Richard Hawley, the Glenfiddich MOJO New Voice awards is the next phase in Glenfiddich’s mission to inspire people to delight in life’s adventures and we are very excited to be part of what will be a life-changing competition.”
