It's Ferry nice work from Carlsberg

21 September, 2007

Singer Bryan Ferry is starring in Carlsberg's latest TV ad. Part of the World According to Carlsberg campaign, the karaoke ad aired on ITV during the Rugby World Cup opening ceremony.

Ferry stars as the support act to three lads who get an enthusiastic reception from thousands of fans after belting out a song accompanied by a karaoke machine.

Darran Britton, marketing director at Carlsberg UK, said: "Karaoke is another brilliant ad in the campaign, and we're sure it will be a hit across the country. Not many ads can boast 25,000 extras and a music legend such as Bryan Ferry."

The ad, produced by Saatchi & Saatchi, forms part of Carlsberg's £13 million media spend for 2007 and will show on all ITV networks, Channel 4, Channel 5 and satellite channels.
