Wiltshire's Wadworth brewery has opened a new visitor centre in Devizes.

The 6X, Horizon and Bishop's Tipple brewer invested more than ú500,000 and spent eight months setting up the centre, which includes the latest

The centre is split into four areas telling visitors about the brewery's heritage, its pubs and shire horses - plus a bar area in which to sample the beers.

Local MP Michael Ancram (pictured below with brewery owners Major and Charles Bartholomew) opened the centre.

Chairman and managing director Charles Bartholomew said: "We are thrilled to be opening the

centre to the public. We hope to make Wadworth a realátourist attraction for Devizes and believe it will be an exciting addition foráboth the brewery and the town."
