MD leaves WaverleyTBS

18 January, 2008

WaverleyTBS managing director Jeff Jamet has announced his departure from the company.

Jamet will leave his role as head of the UK wholesale business at the Scottish & Newcastle-owned company today.

In a statement, S&N chief executive John Dunsmore commended Jamet for showing "outstanding leadership" and maintaining customer confidence when the supplier's Hemel Hempstead base was damaged by an explosion at the neighbouring Buncefield fuel depot in 2005.

The company said a selection process was taking place to find Jamet's successor and it would announce the successful candidate in due course.
