Coca-Cola has redesigned the packaging for its entire Coca-Cola range to make the brand "simpler, bolder and more modern". The new design is based on the scripted logo and red and white ribbon design that was created in 1886. New packaging will be rolled out this year and will feature in all brand communication including point of sale and fridges. The Recycle Now recycle mark will also appear on all new packaging.

La Suissa performing particularly well, according to purchasing director Richard Brittle. Overall confectionery sales grew by 78 per cent with sales of Roses 1.3kg tins up 30 per cent. Mars Galaxy Mistletoe Kisses, Maltesers and Lindt Gold Reindeers also sold well through the wholesaler.
Mars is offering 10 new products for retailers to sell this Easter. They include a young adult range with an rrp of £3.99 and tubes of sweets such as Mars Planets and Maltesers for £1.39 . The confectioner has also updated its Galaxy range to include Caramel, Hazelnut, Raisin & Almond and Dark variants.
