The winners of Wines of Chile UK's innovation awards have been named.

Concha & Toro's Maycas del Limarí was judged as the most innovatively packaged brand, with labelling reflecting the "freshness and luminosity of the Limarí region". Botalcura Vineyards Nebbiolo 2005 - the first Chilean wine to be made from Nebbiolo - was named Chile's most innovative wine style. The Chilean personality of the year prize was given to Viña Cono Sur's managing director and winemaker Adolfo Hurtado. Hurtado was described as "truly one of Chile's greatest ambassadors". The judging panel also made a special award for outstanding contribution to Chilean exports to Cristian Sotomayor of Viña Valdivieso.

Results were announced at the gala dinner of the annual Wines of Chile awards held at the Palacio Cousiño in Santiago. Judges included Tesco's beers, wines and spirits boss Dan Jago and OLN's consulting editor Graham Holter.
