Greene King supports Six Nations with competition

01 February, 2008

Greene King is giving rugby fans the chance to win "the ultimate England Rugby experience" through an on-pack promotion.

The competition will feature on 12 packs of 440ml cans of IPA - England rugby's official beer - giving one winner the chance to take part in a training session with the elite England rugby squad as part of the prize.

Special packs go on shelves this month to coincide with the start of the Six Nations 2008 tournament.

Neil Jardine, Greene King's take home and export director said: “Greene King IPA is currently the fastest growing standard ale in cans in supermarkets. We want to build on this through our promotional activities around the RBS Six Nations and across the rest of the year.

"2008 provides a real opportunity as with the absence of any Home Nations football teams from Euro 2008, the England Rugby Union team will again be in the spotlight.”
