Burgundy tasting set for consumers

Six independent suppliers and retailers are coming together next month for a consumer event in Huntingdon.

The Big Burgundy Tasting features Amps Fine Wines, Lay & Wheeler, Liberty Wines, Berry Bros & Rudd, Genesis Wines and Noel Young Wines.

It takes place at

Old Bridge Hotel on

March 14

and follows a sell-out New Zealand-themed event

last year.

Consumers pay 10 for admission for one of two tasting sessions - 11am-1.30pm or 2.30-5pm. All wines are available at 10 per cent less than their normal list price .

Lifting the spirits

I were to sum up alcohol sales over Christmas 2017 in one word, it would be “gin”.
