Inver House 16 YO sticks "like toffee"

08 February, 2008

Inver House has added a new vintage to its collection of AnCnoc single malts.

Hand

selected by master distiller Stuart Harvey, the 16

Year Old is the first in the collection to be wholly matured in American oak casks. It is priced at ú39.99.

Brand manager Elaine Mitchell said: "Our 16

Year

Old is quite different to anything else that we've produced previously and the initial feedback we'veáreceived

is very encouraging."

The distillery described the unchill-filtered, non-coloured, single malt Scotch

whisky as "light and zesty with a hint of spice, warming up to what can only be described as stick to your teeth toffee".
