My advice to traditional wine merchants is: Hold your nerve and keep doing what you're doing well. It's all about offering a bespoke service - you can't be complacent. You have to work at it very hard and think about your business and give it a unique selling point. Having a personal relationship with your customers and listening to them will ensure growth in 2008.
