New appointment for Grupo CodornÝu

Grupo CodornÝu has appointed a brand manager to look after its wine brands in the UK.

Grupo CodornÝu has appointed a brand manager to look after the Claro Group wine brands in the UK.

Former HBJ Wines & Spirits brand manager, Nicola Hale takes on the role, which was created following the distribution agreement between Grupo CodornÝu UK and the Claro Group.

Hale will be responsible for managing the brands Santa Rita, Carmen and Terra Andina from Chile, as well as the Do˝a Paula Estate of Argentina.

Under a deal signed last October, CodornÝu UK is responsible for distributing Claro Group brands in the off-trade.

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle ľ which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
