Coors announces Holberry replacements

04 March, 2008

Coors sales director John Holberry is to be replaced by two people following his move to Magners Great Britain.

The brewer has decided to split the sales director role into two when Holberry leaves the company later this month for his new job as managing director.

John Heynen, who has been with Coors for the past four years will take responsibility for sales at national retail groups and distributors in the off and on-trade, while Steve Ellis, a Coors employee for 14 years, will look after independent on-trade business.

Mark Hunter, chief executive at Coors, said: Its an exciting and challenging time for the brewing industry and Coors is no exception, they have all shown the talent and drive to take Coors forward and I look forward to them starting.

Coors has also appointed David Heede to the board as strategy director. All three will begin their jobs on March 17 at Coors head office in Burton on Trent.
