Vertical shifts into Robinson range

07 March, 2008

Vertical Drinks managing director Steve Holt has joined Old Tom brewer Frederic Robinson and taken his portfolio of imported brands, including Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Veltins Pilsner and Le Gauloise, into the Robinson portfolio.

Holt plans to add more imported brands to the range and grow distribution of Robinson brands in the off-trade.

He said: "The new role is primarily one of marketing and business development for the brewery's packaged brands in both UK and export markets. Robinson's infrastructure and its packaging facility present tremendous opportunities for the growth of Robinson's brands and the imported beer business."

Before setting up Vertical, Holt was a founder director of Cains and marketing and commercial director at Mansfield Brewery.
