Bowtime set to do SB some favours

Strongbow is teaming up with talkSPORT radio in a deal that will give Scottish & Newcastle's flagship cider regular spots on the station.

The brand has agreed a six -month sponsorship of its drive-time show, which is being renamed Bowtime, and airs daily from 4pm to 7pm.

This will include regular on-air features and competitions, credits and trailers.

Steve Mosey, marketing manager for ciders at S&N UK, said: "Renaming the programme will provide an excellent conduit for Strongbow to engage with its core target market ."

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle ľ which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
