Inver House Distillers has announced a limited edition bottling of its 40

Year Old Hankey Bannister blended Scotch whisky to celebrate its 250th anniversary. Containing whiskies including Garnheath, Killyloch and Glenfager, only 1,917 bottles will be released internationally. A 70cl box set containing a crystal decanter and two bespoke Glencairn glasses wi ll retail for £375.

A Finnish vodka brand is being launched by Diesel Drink Finland Oy in the UK. Diesel Vodka is produced with water from Lake Saimaa, Finland's largest lake, and honey, which slightly sweetens the drink. Tubes of Strawberry, Lime and Blue Fresh flavours will be introduced, along with an original variant.

The Balvenie has brought its range of single malts to the streets of London

with sampling at the Country Living Show. Visitors to The Balvenie stand were given a chance to sample new limited edition The Balvenie Signature variant, as well as watch

displays by craftsmen from The Balvenie Cooperage.

Actress Goldie Hawn has been presented with a specially commissioned bottle of Whyte & Mackay 40 Year Old to commemorate her 40 years on the silver screen. The bottle, which listed all of her starring roles over the past four decades, was presented to her by Alex Neill, account manager for Whyte & Mackay, who said: "Goldie is such an enduring icon and it was an honour to produce this bottle for her."
