Thatchers lightens entire cider range

04 April, 2008

Thatchers is putting all its ciders into lightweight bottles after introducing its range of single variety ciders in the format.

Thatchers Gold, Thatchers Pear Cider and Thatchers Oak Matured will now also be packaged in 50cl lightweight bottles.

Managing director Martin Thatcher said: "The new, shorter bottle has stronger shelf presence and is fridge-friendly.

"Mindful of minimising packaging requirements, we have also reduced the weight of the bottle."
