United pull away as Arsenal falter

18 April, 2008

March proved a crucial month in this year's Premier League as Arsenal's challenge faded badly under massive pressure from the rampaging Red Devils.

Derby are relegated, and any managers in this year's FFL with Derby players in their team should be taking a long, hard look at themselves. A full weekend of Premiership action is highlighted by the North East Derby between

resurgent Newcastle and Sunderland, as well as the Midlands Derby between Villa and Birmingham. These are always passionate affairs, so expect a lot of bookings, very few goals and some nasty injuries - a difficult time to be transferring injured players with two months left of the season.
