Cadbury Trebor Bassett is backing the relaunch of its Maynards Wine Gums TV ad, which first screened in 1991, with a £2.4 million marketing spend.

In-store POS, posters, shelf-edge wobblers and dump bins with motion activated sound boxes will be available to independent retailers.
Trade communications manager Kate Harding said: "We
expect to see a real resurgence in Maynards Wine Gums' popularity.
" She added the decision to revive the ad follows an "overwhelming response" from customers when it was shown in research groups .
