Speciality website launched by InBev

InBev UK has launched a website to help retailers make the most of the opportunity for speciality beer sales.

Specialitybeerselection.com takes over from a previous site opened in 2005 when the market was still relatively under developed.

The site will include a feature allowing retailers to order point-of-sale material, a recipe section and tips on hosting a sampling session.

Brand director Ken Valledy said: " We want to provide customers with the most comprehensive range of information so they can understand the category and appreciate how to develop it as part of their business."

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle ľ which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
