S&N launches Jacques campaign as summer approaches

Scottish & Newcastle UK has launched a four-week outdoor campaign for its Jacques fruit cider.

The campaign positions the brand as "no ordinary cider" and is aimed at raising awareness and encouraging trials among 25 to 34-year-old women.

It will consist of 48-sheet

posters, plus crosstrack, in-car and escalator ads on the Tube.

Fruits version of Jacques was launched recently.

Another S&N cider brand, Strongbow, will be taking its Bowtime Bar to the Isle of Wight and V

during the summer.

Reasons to be cheerful

I would like to think my outlook on things is generally optimistic. Perhaps that’s a natural consequence of working with something designed to give pleasure. But recently it has become increasingly difficult to ignore a creeping sense of negativity pervading the British wine trade.
