Grand Marnier gets Frenglish in ads

30 May, 2008

Grand Marnier is being promoted in a new summer cocktail as part of the brand's biggest ever UK marketing push.

The seven-figure campaign, called Frenglish, will be written in a mix of French and English to reflect the combination of French Grand Marnier with English elderflower cordial in the

grand

esprit cocktail.

A programme of sampling at major consumer events such as the BBC Good Food Summer Festival and Taste of London aims to introduce the cocktail to a minimum of 100,000 consumers.

Guillaume Villerabel, Marnier-Lapostolle area export manager for UK, Benelux & Russia, said: "We believe we have created a new classic drink for the summer which will appeal to sophisticated consumers ."
