Jameson presents Premium fab four

13 June, 2008

Jameson Irish Whiskey is launching a range of top-end blended whiskies called the Jameson Premium Collection.

The four-strong range comes from rare and limited

stocks at the Midleton Single Distillery in county Cork. Jameson 12 Year Old Special Reserve (rrp 23.79) is described by master distiller Barry Crockett as "warm and spicy, with sherry richness and a nutty flavour", while Jameson 18 Year Old (65.99) has a more complex taste that includes fudge, toffee, wood and leather.

Jameson Gold Reserve (49.99)

does away with the usual age descriptor and instead includes the three best whiskies available to the distillers.

The Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve will retail for 295 and is the product of Jameson's oldest whiskies. Only 3,900 bottles will be available worldwide, with 48 bottles

in the UK .
