Don't miss International Beer Challenge 2008

27 June, 2008

The world's biggest packaged beer competition, the International Beer Challenge, is once again open for entries.

The competition, chaired by respected beer critic Jeff Evans and organised by OLN publisher William Reed Business Media, is a major fixture in the brewing calendar.

Judges - including beer writers, retailers and brewers - assess beer in 12 classes, awarding 60% of their marks for taste and 40% for the packaging. The top entries are then judged again by a super jury and the highest-scoring declared the "world's 50 best beers".

Entries will be accepted until July 9 and judging takes place on July 23 and 29. For entry information see ibc-awards.com.
