Las Moras targets premium market

25 July, 2008

Finca Las Moras has launched a new premium Argentinian wine, Gran Shiraz Three Valleys, which it claims demonstrates the "world class potential for Shiraz from San Juan".

The wine is made from grapes picked by hand in three different valleys in the province. Each vineyard is at a different

elevation, and the grapes are picked at different times of the year for maximum ripeness.

Grapes from the Tulum Valley are picked at the end of February, the Zonda Valley at the end of January and the Pedernal Valley at the end of April.

The wine is described as "full-bodied, deep red/purple with complex aromas and notes of red fruit and chocolate". It has an rrp of £11.99 and is sold through UK agent Chaliť Richards.
