Beck's unveils new Canvas designs

Beck's labels designed by talented young artists will replace the brand's traditional livery throughout August.

The four limited edition bottles, featuring designs judged by a panel from the Royal College of Art, will also appear in TV advertising.

Will Morris, senior brand manager for Beck's at Inbev UK, said: "Beck's Canvas marks an evolution of

ongoing support for creative and talented individuals, and our vision to bring inspiring and challenging artwork to a broader public."

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle ľ which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
