Echo Falls launches 4% abv spritzer
Published:  11 July, 2008

The Echo Falls range is being extended with a 4% abv wine spritzer.

Echo Falls Spritz is aiming to tap into what Constellation Europe perceives as demand for a low-alcohol alternative to beer, RTDS and spirit-mixers.

The product is a blend of either Chardonnay or White Zinfandel

wine with sparkling water, and is recommended best served chilled over ice in a tall glass.

The drink will be packaged in 25cl bottles with an rrp of £1.49. A four-pack will retail for £5.49, with initial promotions at £3.99.

The launch is being backed by TV advertising, event sampling and POS.

The launch is the second major piece of innovation for the top 10 wine brand this year, following the earlier launch of a single-serve ready-to-drink plastic

wine glass.
