Ex-bar manager sets up text service

A young entrepreneur is offering consumers and the trade the chance to get cocktail recipes sent directly to their mobile phones. Text4Cocktails lets users text the word "cocktail", followed by the name of the cocktail of their choice to the number 82055, and the recipe is instantly sent to their phone.

Aberdeen-based Ryan Coutts explained: "I was working as a bar manager and

noticed a gap in the market. People would ask for cocktails and staff sometimes didn't know how to make them. Cocktail recipe books aren't always on hand, but nine out of 10 people these days have a mobile ."
