Eco plans continue for Bottle Green

Italian Via Vecchio is the third Bottle Green wine brand to launch in 1-litre Tetra Prisma cartons.

The pack, priced 6.99, features a typical piazza scene to link the brand to ideas about Italy and Italian lifestyles.

The agency said it is easy to carry and is 100% recyclable. It is currently available in a varietal Pinot Grigio, which has been listed in Morrisons.

Talking terroir

When Bordeaux was in fashion, it seemed almost logical that we should fetishise winemakers. Here were people responsible for brilliant acts of blending, across large estates and multiple grape varieties, including superstars such as cabernet sauvignon and merlot. These days, fashion has moved on and pinot noir is ascendant. As a result, the star of the winemaker has fallen and we find ourselves following a new star in the sky: terroir.
