Shepherd Neame's Spitfire ale is to be sold in a limited -edition, eight-bottle pack around September's Battle of Britain week. The brewer will donate 25p from the sales of each multipack to the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund. The pack is being listed by Morrisons, Asda and Spar.

Magners is sponsoring a UK tour by Irish music acts Sharon Shannon, Mundy and Damien Dempsey. The Magners Irish Sessions tour will start with a gig

in London in September, and then visit Newcastle, Inverness, Ullapool, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester from November. There will be above-the-line support in specialist music and regional press,

Mexican lager Corona has "taken over" the island of Ibiza and is wooing key clients with luxury trips to the Spanish island, which it has renamed Corona Island. I were to sum up alcohol sales over Christmas 2017 in one word, it would be “gin”. At Nielsen, we define the Christmas period as the 12 weeks to December 30 and in that time gin sales were £199.4 million, which means they increased by £55.4 million compared with Christmas 2016.
