Shloer has launched a new-look website as part of its Everything You Can Wish For marketing campaign. Shloer.com will host a series of

competitions, cocktail recipes, a downloadable money-off e-voucher and a list of wholesale and cash

and carry stockists. To celebrate the launch, Shloer is giving away a 150 hair makeover in partnership with Toni & Guy.

Hancocks' purchasing director Richard Brittle is to retire after 40 years with the company. Jonathan Summerley will head up the buying department when Brittle leaves on Sept 26. Hancocks is

opening a 16,000sq ft

confectionery cash and carry in Liverpool at the end of September.

Somerset-based Energy Beverages Worldwide is bringing its energy drink 9-2-5 to the European market. Packaged in a 6cl bottle (rrp 1.29), it is sugar-free and contains antioxidants such as green tea, yerba mate and ginseng. President Mark Todd said: "We believe there is a huge market for micro energy shots worldwide."

General Mills UK is launching a 35p on-pack special offer for bars of Nature Valley. Available from this month , the offer will run across four flavours -

Oats 'n Honey, Canadian Maple Syrup, Apple Crunch and Roasted Almond.
