Range moves to Argentine wines

19 September, 2008

The Camden Park range is being relaunched

with wine sourced from Argentina rather than Australia.

The brand was bought by Origin Wine from Orbital Wines in January and

the company is switching production to its own winery in Mendoza.

It was relaunched at this week's Wines of Argentina tasting in two new styles - Pinot Grigio and Bonarda/Shiraz - both priced

£6.99.

Chief executive Bernard Fontannaz said: "We are are confident that we can establish a credible, premium brand from Argentina. Argentina is still a sleeping giant and, given the current supply and pricing issues in Australia, offers fantastic value and a great ratio between price and quality."
