Published:  19 September, 2008

Inbev UK is giving away free branded glasses on

10-packs of Beck's Vier 44cl cans.

The on-pack promotion is aimed at boosting the brand's profile in the run -up to Christmas and giving consumers a better drinking experience.

Steve McAllister, commercial director for multiple off-trade, said: "We are offering shoppers something that will significantly enhance their enjoyment of the brand at home - and help to develop brand loyalty in the longer -term.

"The promotion delivers benefits for retailers in terms of incremental business during the important pre-Christmas sales period."

The glass features a square base, which is embossed to "enliven the beer during the pour to help the development of a good head", according to McAllister.

Consumers need to collect two tokens from separate 10-packs of Beck's Vier 44cl cans.

The promotion will be backed with in-store support in selected multiple retailers.
