30 September, 2008

Two new buyers have joined the Co-op wine team.

Ben Cahill joins from Lords Wines, a wine gift specialist and on-trade wholesaler, as category wine buyer. He is responsible for Alsace, Burgundy, Rhône, southern France, Spain, and Central and South America.

Edward Robinson, who takes responsibility for German wines, has an accountancy background but has also worked for Majestic, including time at French subsidiary, Wine & Beer World.

Former buyer Barney Davis has left to pursue other opportunities.
