Hennings Wine Merchants in Pulborough, West Sussex, has become the UK agent for Paritua Vineyards. Its portfolio includes two primary labels, Stone Paddock and Paritua Collection, from vineyards in Central Otago and Hawke s Bay.

the prize of an all-expenses-paid trip to New Zealand.

Viña Errazuriz is rolling out its entire Estate range in lightweight bottles. The new bottles - which have a 12.4% reduction in glass weight -

will make their UK debut in the off-trade this

autumn, starting with the Estate reds. Once the whites have been introduced later in the year, the annual saving in shipping weight will be

around 500 tonnes, according to the company.

A neck collar, printed on recycled card, will offer consumers the chance to win long-life

light

bulbs in return for energy saving suggestions.

Maison Louis Jadot has opened a

6,000 hl winery in Côte Châlonnaise in southern Burgundy. Named Cellier des Pierres Rouges after the red chalk that dominates the surrounding landscape, the new facility will focus on the production of Louis Jadot Bourgogne Pinot Noir and Givry wine.
