New store for Corks Out

17 October, 2008

Corks Out, the Cheshire-based specialist wine and spirits retailer, has opened its third branch in Timperley Village, Altrincham.

The new outlet joins existing branches in Stockton Heath and Chester.

The business, which was established

in December 2003 by

Ruth Yates, has

won a raft of retail and business

awards for its range and customer service.

The retailer has more than 2,000 lines from all over the world, with an emphasis on small, often family-owned, producers and parcels of wine.

Yates said: "From the outset, it has been our aim to offer customers a

point of difference from other retailers.

"We want to preserve the village atmosphere and sense of community that comes from shopping with a specialist retailer and believe that this is increasingly what people are looking for.

"For those who are time-poor or

don't live in the area, we can

offer an effective and great value mail -order service . "
