Glayva's seasonal sponsor plans unveiled

Whyte & Mackay's whisky liqueur Glayva is to be the headline sponsor of Edinburgh's

new

year celebration,

the Glayva Ceilidh in the Gardens.

The sponsorship will be supported with radio and press ads, branded in-store POS and consumer sampling of two winter serves

- the Glayva Gold made with ginger ale and the Glayva Blush

made with cranberry juice.

Whyte & Mackay's master distiller Richard Paterson has release d his autobiography - Goodness Nose. Paterson, whose father and grandfather were

master blenders, was reported to have had his nose insured

for 1.5 million.
