Apple Shloer rolls out across the UK

14 November, 2008

Shloer is launching an apple-flavoured variant to celebrate its 70th anniversary.

Previously only sold in Northern Ireland, Shloer Apple is available in a 75cl glass bottle. It is a blend of apple and white grape juice and contains no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or sweeteners.

Communications controller Amanda Grabham said: "Shloer Apple is our third most popular variant in Northern Ireland after White and Red Grape. Now, in our 70th year, we felt it would be fitting to introduce

it to the rest of the UK."

Because taste is entirely subjective, debates about our personal preferences are as inevitable as they are interminable. Indeed, these long-winded, wine-fuelled arguments are precisely what make our jobs so much fun.
