Panda eyes the market with Fox's ad

14 November, 2008

Fox's is back on TV screens this month with its second burst of advertising featuring animated panda Vinnie.

The biscuit manufacturer is spending 2 million on the latest marketing push, which will also include online and radio advertising.

The first time Vinnie starred in Fox's ads, 8.5 million shoppers - one third of all households in the UK - bought the brand, according to the company.

Business sector director Mike Driver said: "Fox's sales increased by over 4.3 million at RSV as a result of our advertising campaign. We also managed to attract new consumers, a high percentage of which are AB shoppers under the age of 35."
