Marks & Spencer launches wine plan
Published:  10 December, 2008

Marks & Spencer has launched a new wine plan which it says will save customers 20% on every case.

Customers who sign up to the scheme will receive a 12-bottle case every three months, delivered free of charge.

Cases cost £59.50 – which works out at £4.99 a bottle – though the initial selection, put together by wine buyer Chris Murphy, is being offered for £47.37. All cases represent a 20% saving on the regular price if wines were sold individually.

Customers can choose between reds, whites or mixed cases and will have the first chance to taste online exclusives.

M&S said the cases have “the ideal balance of popular classics and exciting new discoveries”.

It added: “Part of the joy of the Wine Plan is savouring delicious wines from off the beaten track. Full details and tasting notes are available online to help bring every wine to life.”

As a member of the Wine Plan, you will be the first to try some of our online exclusives.
